MedTech in focus at the 2025 State Technology Conference

“Medical technology from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania for the world” – Under this motto, we were part of the diverse program at the 2025 State Technology Conference in Rostock/Warnemünde and were able to actively contribute to its design.
The event brought together companies, research institutions, students, and skilled workers from the region to discuss future technologies and skilled labor requirements.
At our own booth, the Neoplas Med team was engaged in many exciting conversations, and interested parties showed great interest in the argon jet plasma technology “Made in MV.”
Special thanks go to the initiators and organizers: the Ministry of Economics of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, the Institute for Implant Technology and Biomaterials e. V. (IIB e. V.), the Chambers of Commerce of the State of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, and BioCon Valley® GmbH with the following responsible parties: Dr. Wolfgang Blank, Minister for Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Tourism, and Labor of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, as well as Jochen Schulte, State Secretary of the same department, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Klaus-Peter Schmitz and Andrea Bock, Ralf Svoboda, Lars Bauer, and Sven Olsen, and the dedicated teams behind them for the excellent organization of an all-around successful event.
In addition, Neoplas Med CEO Ulrike Sailer gave insights into the development and application of this groundbreaking key technology, which bridges the gap between research and clinical practice, in her keynote speech “Plasma technology from MV – transfer from science to industry.”
The success story of neoplas med clearly illustrates how science and industry can work together – sustainably and effectively – and demonstrates how technology transfer can be successful.
