Around 1 million people in Germany are suffering from a chronic wound. This leads to therapy costs of roughly 1 billion euros every year. A chronic wound is that is not closed after three months or that fails to show any tendency of healing after four weeks of treatment. In cases such as these the cold plasma jet kINPen® MED is used to achieve re-epithelisation.
