Neoplas Med at the 36th EWMA Congress in Bremen

From May 6–8, 2026, Neoplas Med participated in the DEWU Deutscher Wundkongress and the 36th EWMA Congress in Bremen — one of Europe’s leading events dedicated to wound management and chronic wound care.

Across more than 200 sessions, around 300 experts discussed current challenges and future approaches in wound treatment, highlighting the growing importance of innovative therapies in light of demographic change and increasing numbers of patients with chronic wounds.

Throughout the three-day congress, the Neoplas Med team presented live demonstrations of the kINPen® MED argon plasma jet and engaged in valuable exchanges with clinicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals from across Europe. These discussions once again underlined the importance of close collaboration between science, technology, and clinical practice in advancing modern wound care.

A particular highlight of the event was the symposium “Impact of Cold Atmospheric Plasma (CAP) on Patients with Wound Healing Disorders”, featuring Dr. med. Ursula Werra (University Hospital Cologne) and Volker Lauenroth (Ruhr University Bochum). The presentations provided compelling insights into the therapeutic potential of CAP technology in wound healing applications.

Neoplas Med was also pleased to welcome representatives of its strategic partner Niterra Ventures at the congress. International partnerships play a key role in bringing innovative plasma medicine technologies from research into everyday clinical practice worldwide.

The company would like to thank all visitors, partners, and participants for the inspiring conversations and the strong interest in plasma-based wound treatment solutions.
