Millions of people suffer from chronic wounds, yet this medical issue often remains largely invisible in public awareness.<\/p>\n

We are all the more pleased that Neoplas Med is featured in the “Innovation & Disruption Leaders Germany” series on WELT online. The piece shows how medical innovation for patient care emerges from scientific research, clinical evidence, and technological development.<\/p>\n

At the center of our feature is argon cold plasma jet technology with the kINPen\u00ae MED. The physical cold plasma is applied to the wound without contact, at temperatures below 40 \u00b0C. It can reduce microbial load and support natural wound-healing processes. Due to its physical mode of action, there is so far no evidence of microbial resistance developing.<\/p>\n

Jet plasma does not replace established wound care. Rather, it complements it with an innovative therapy option, particularly for complex and hard-to-heal wounds.<\/p>\n

Medical progress requires a solid scientific foundation. Together with our scientific and clinical partners, we are unlocking the potential of cold plasma medicine and developing new fields of application \u2014 right here in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, where we are already helping shape the future of medical technology today.<\/p>\n

We are especially pleased that Dirk Schapeler of Niterra Ventures also shares his perspective on our collaboration in the film. The trusted and constructive partnership with Niterra is of great importance to Neoplas Med’s development.<\/p>\n

Having our work presented to a wider audience is a great honor for us. At the same time, the documentary offers an opportunity to draw more attention to a technology that can sustainably improve care for people with chronic wounds.<\/p>\n
